Live near Dallas? Well, what if you had the chance to become a kpop star for a day? Have kpop artists teach you their moves and perform in front of hundreds and thousands just like them? Well now’s your chance!

 K-Pop Dallas has joined with the Korean Consular of Dallas to bring you Dallas’s Preliminary Contest for KBS World K-Pop Star Festival Competition. Auditions are simple; simply upload a video onto YouTube or any streaming video provider online, of you covering a kpop song, or dance, or even music video!, and sending the link or video to the following email on the poster below. Auditions for the contest will run through June, till July 13th. All videos are due by July 13th. 

Rules are simple:


- You have to sing in Korean. You do not have to know the language, but you must sing in it. Not hard to be quite honest! CoughWeAlreadyDoThisInOurShowersCough

-You cannot be of Korean descendant, meaning you cannot have Korean in your blood  . This contest is a world festival, meaning different ethnicity in the world that are not Korean.

-If you do make it to the finals, you must be able to go to Korea (all expense paid) on October 20th, 2013. 

The Dallas Regional Preliminary Final will be on July 27th, 2013. This is when we will be judging at a location here in Dallas, to see who will advance to the finals. *Location yet to be assigned*
